We built the photography studio for our own client work at Echelon Media — which meant designing it for the kind of shoots that actually pay the bills: brand campaigns, product days, headshot batches and content production. The cyc is properly painted and lit. The lighting kit is what you'd want on your own job, not a token set of softboxes. The makeup area exists because every team shoot needs one. We rent it out because it'd be a waste not to, and because the more people use it, the more it justifies the upgrades. We're an easy run from Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree, Witham and Ipswich, with free parking when you arrive.

we send the brief
Within two working hours, you'll get a confirmation email with arrival info, the full kit list, makeup area details, parking instructions and the gate code.
walk in and shoot
Door's unlocked, lights are on, kettle's ready. We're around if you need an extra hand or want to add an in-house photographer — otherwise we leave you to it.

what's included
No upsells in the small print. The headline rate covers the kit and the room — add-ons are listed separately and you only pay for what you book.
Cyclorama wall (5m infinity curve, white) — clean infinity backgrounds with no seam, no horizon line. Re-painted regularly so it's always crisp on camera.
Aputure 600D Pro + 300D + Amaran panel lighting kit — daylight-balanced LED kit with full grip including softboxes, octaboxes, grids and barn doors.
Continuous and strobe options — Profoto B10 strobes available alongside the LED kit. Bring whichever workflow suits your shoot.
Makeup and changing area — dedicated makeup station with ring light and adjustable mirror, plus a private changing area with full-length mirror.
Backdrops — pure white, deep black and neutral paper backdrops on motorised drops, alongside the cyc wall.
Free on-site parking and loading bay — pull up next to the door, unload kit straight in, no Pay & Display roulette.
High-speed Wi-Fi and tethering — symmetric 1Gbps fibre, plus a dedicated tethering station with ethernet drops for Capture One / Lightroom.

- Yes — happy to have you bring your own kit. The studio has 13A and 16A power available on three walls and plenty of C-stands if you need them. There's room to roll a dolly too.
